Terry McEvoy was told by his pilot father that he would never be a pilot because he wore glasses.
So how come our author has thousands of hours flying time on 175  different aircraft and helicopters and has girdled the globe in a Citation X as a corporate pilot?
Seems that glasses thing only applies to the military and Terry McEvoy learned that after becoming a very capable AME (aircraft maintenance engineer) which served him well when flying jobs were scarce.
