Bugle Boy by Jack Schofield (Preorder)

Bugle Boy, The Almost True Story of Ginger Coote, is currently one of our Works in Progress at Coast Dog Press. The novel’s title begs the question, how come the story is “Almost True?” Our author, Jack Schofield, explains that back in 1992 he researched Ginger Coote, the much acclaimed Chilliwack born British Columbia aviation pioneer, and published that pilot’s history in an aviation trade magazinel.

“I was left with a nagging realization,” says Schofield, “that there was more to tell about Ginger than the recording of his flying history, but it was going to take a book of fiction to do that …and here it is — History augmented with fiction or is it Fiction augmented with history—your call.
